Número de artículo:303013789671For auction an C18th steel /iron double folding corkscrew with pipe tamper ends and a ridged stem for striking a flint. It has a strong spring action and snaps straight out.Despite being in reasonable condition it has some corrosion and little of the original patination exists. No attempt has been made to clean the item which is as found.Sadly as can be clearly seen the screw has been partly snapped off.Despite this the corkscrew is so rare that most collectors are unlikely ever to have the opportunity to buy a pristine example, so it is still well worth listing.Careful examination appears to show no maker's name but this screw is reminiscent of Thomas Reed or Speyers designs. Please look at my feedback and reliability scores then bid with confidence.I have other interesting items listed.Condition:200 year old folding corkscrew in reasonable overall condition but with some corrosion and a broken tip, Product:Corkscrew, Style/Period:Georgian, Original/Repro:Original, Weight:31 grams, Additional Material:Steel, Maker:N/K, Country of Origin:England, Age:Pre-1800
